About the Aldi Case Competition
The Aldi Case Competition was a team-oriented competition designed to assess Aldi's internal communication and collaboration needs. Each team was tasked to propose an Enterprise Social Network (ESN) with an in-depth cost analysis that would enhance their existing systems. My team was fortunate enough to received first place honors out of 170-180 teams after presenting to a panel of Aldi representatives.
During the second semester of college I took a course called K201 Computers in Business. In this course we learned Microsoft Access and Excel skills. This course is one of my favorite courses I've taken at Indiana University, it is so well organized and the work you do is very rewarding. Towards the end of the semester every one of my classmates in each of the course sections competed in a case competition as I explained above. Throughout college I've always been blessed to have great teammates in group projects, the Aldi Case Competition was no exception. The team and I had a ton of fun researching and completing the case. We were all so excited and proud that the work we did granted us a 1st place achievement out of about 170-180 other teams.
